The Rockland Progressive Democratic Caucus is a group of politically active progressives and Democrats that are united in the common purpose of providing a strong, credible voice in advancing progressive solutions to community problems. As an organization, we believe in an interdependent world that respects and upholds human rights, democratic processes, economic justice, government transparency, peaceful resolutions to conflicts, sustainable communities, and environmental protection.
We also believe that progressive values should be applied locally as they are nationally, and we will work to recruit and elect progressive candidates for local office. We are also dedicated to educating and engaging residents of Rockland County on issues of national, state, or local concern.

The Rockland Progressive Dems began shortly after the 2008 elections seeking to give a greater voice to progressives here in the five towns.
